Founding Members Ed Antonelli and Barry Armstrong teamed up with Greg Natola, Linda Newhall and Nick Chaimpia to form Easy Street. The cover/original band gained local and regional success  in the eighties.

Easy Street gained popularity in Quebec City, New Brunswick, Cape Cod and Nantucket Island .Locally they played to packed houses like the Webbrook, EJ's, The Ferryway , The Oxford Ale House in Harvard Square and Copperfields in Boston's Kenmore Square.

The Heart of the band was Easy Street's  original material penned primarily by  Co-founders Ed Antonelli and Barry Armstrong who had met as music students at UMass, Lowell . Their freshman single "Wait for the day" earned radio play on WAAF and WCOZ. All recordings were done at Howie Cook's Euphoria Studios.

Although the nucleus of the band remained in tact, drummer
Mike Albano was brought in to replace Chiampa  as the band became more diverse in it's style. Berklee alumni Vin Bordonaro was added for his tenor sax as well as  Hammond organ. Carl and Tim Colletti  joined  the final line-up which disbanded soon after Armstrongs departure.

Long time  friends- Dave 'Buck' Balian and  Jim Limone aka 'JL City' handled  sound/ lighting and roadie duties. Exclusive Agent -Gary Avadanian handled all the band's bookings. An early version
of the band featured vocalist Lois Manzi and drummer Rich Scovel.

A CD is currently being remastered with the best of the original material and a new acoustic track with Armstrong and Antonelli
reuniting for this project.

The CD will be available here soon...
